I flew this month, Denver & Atlanta, and was not mistreated in either airport. In fact, Atlanta put us through the metal detector rather than scanner. At the same time, a young black woman went through the body scanner and had her hair “felt” by a black TSA agent.

I fly frequently and the TSA agents have always been reasonable. I went to NOLA last month and bought a sparkly shirt which didn’t do well in the scan. The TSA say they had to do a pat down but joked that next time not to wear the shirt. I have had my tattoo on my leg, looked at every time, I am thinking there must be metal in the ink.
My only issue is that my grandson gets pulled over every time for a secondary search. I think it’s his name, but TSA always says its random.
You are correct DIA acctuatly have the most polite TSA so far.
