One of the writers is Barbara Nicolosi, a devout orthodox Catholic (she is affiliated with Catholic Answers). The other writer is the same one who wrote Gibson’s Passion movie - and we know that movie used the traditional Stations of the Cross to tell the gospel story of Christ’s passion.
It seems the traditional version of Mary - the one even Luther embraced - will prevail in this movie.

Anyone think it will depict the Assumption?
I don't think so. Nicolosi is the Founder of Act One Program, a nonprofit program to train and mentor Christians for careers as Hollywood writers and executives.
