I know what you mean. I have a cousin who loves Maobama and anything pro-homosexual(she’s a theater teacher). Yet, she claims to be a Christian and I think is pro-life. Anyhow, it can be tough having a liberal relative but I just don’t discuss politics with her and try to focus on the things we share in common and the fun we had together playing as children.

That’s tough. I have a bunch of in-laws that are decent enough not to “go there.”
My sister, OTOH, likes to push my buttons. Eventually I crack, and we go at it hammer and tong. Good times!
How does she get “sexist” pig out of the Walker win? How is any sexism involved? Yeah, I know when people are inflamed there is no logic involved in their thoughts.
Why do you invite them? I would have trouble letting them into my home family or not.
I applaud your tolerance. As for me, they wouldn't make it in the door until the proved they'd grown up and acted like responsible, caring people; family or not. I have no tolerance for idiots of any stripe.
