I am a very conservative female, and I whole heartedly agree with what (I believe) you are saying. Look back over time to see when things really started sliding down the slippery slope of stupid, and that is where I think it began.

Sadly, too many female voters “feel”, instead of think.

I’m a woman, and I rather enjoy my right to vote. I’m also very conservative and opposed to abortion and the flagrant inappropriate use of the word ‘vagina.’

Women’s suffrage brought us women like Sarah Palin, too.

I’m curious as to what your intended point is here, and I enjoy polite discussions about these kind of things.

As I recall most of those women wanted to right to vote to end bad things like alcohol which they “abhorred”. Yes we all know what banning booze led to but that at least goes to show you these women had good intentions. Never in a million years did they see this coming. They hoped by banning booze their HUSBANDS yes that man they were MARRIED to would stay at home with them and not hang out at the local saloon. Do you blame them? I don't. They actually wanted to be with their men folk. They wanted their men to be with their CHILDREN too! I am sure they never saw this coming.
