You are absolutely right. That is the essence of this whole sordid affair which was a planned and insidious scheme that backfired on them. Issa probably already has the docs (from other sources) to prove it. Like a fine wine, this is going to get better with age.
Sure hope you’re right. It’s the only thing that makes sense. But, if Bush initiated a gun-running program, wouldn’t it be the perfect foil for Holder & co. to alter the program oh-so-subtlely to enact Progressive gun-laws. I’d even posit that Holder (Obama) NEEDED a dead American to make the case.
