Sarah Palin wouldn’t blink in voting for Romney, she affirms it’s ANYBODY. BUT. OBAMA.
The Right Scoop ^ | June 20 2012 | The Right Scoop

Sarah Palin says that Obama did not respect the balance of power in the federal government when he issued his executive order last week on immigration, that he is now just telling Americans what he deems best by fiat. It was so blatant that she also suggested that we go back and talk to some of his former students because it’s clear Obama doesn’t understand our constitutional process.

She was also asked about criticism that she didn’t mention Romney in her speech at Right Online. But her reason was simple, that it would have violated the ground rules based on AFP’s legal status as a non-profit. But she makes very clear where she stands and said that if the vote were had today, she wouldn’t blink in voting for Romney over Obama and maintains she’s always held the position of anybody but Obama.

Sarah Palin said last summer in Iowa that she could support Mitt Romney.

Maybe you’re on the wrong forum if you blanketly label people who have objections to Romney as “Mormon haters”.

“...she affirms it’s ANYBODY. BUT. OBAMA.”

Well, that’s good enough for me.

I want to state right now and right here that I WILL NOT VOTE FOR OBAMA. I WILL vote for SOMEBODY ELSE.

Everybody happy now?

Sounds a lot like those who say if you object to Obama and/or his liberal agenda you are racist.

...we must watch the Mormon haters rage ...

That you think Romney's Mormonism has anything to do with why I think ABO is a stupid strategy if the result is Romney, tells a lot more about you than it does about me.

I love Palin dearly, but she's wrong about ABO. ABO is based on fear, and fear is a LOSING STRATEGY.

There is no such thing as voting "against" a candidate. I'd love it if a vote for Romney was only a vote "against" Obama, but the sad and harsh truth is that a vote for Romney is a vote FOR increasing liberalism and statism in the Republican party as well as in America.

I know what I'll be voting FOR if it's O v R. I'll be voting FOR making the road as rough and overwhelming as possible for whichever statist wins, Obama or Romney, and I'll do that by voting third party at the top of the ticket in order to split the vote into a plurality so the winner is still opposed by a majority.

That is what I'll be voting FOR -- because in the end, there is no such thing as voting "against" a candidate. No matter how I vote, I can't prevent an authoritarian anti-conservative statist from taking the presidency. But I can vote FOR making him as weak as possible, and that is what I will do, and what I pray Americans with common sense will do, in November.

I have been abandoned by my party. I did not abandon it.

So now you abandon your country to 4 more years of Obama?

I will not contribute to placing Obama in office again.  I will not contrubute to putting Romney in office either.

I consider this a defense of our nation.

Worded another way, you're still saying that a non-vote for Romney is a vote for Obama.  No it isn't.  It isn't any more than a non-vote for Obama is a vote for Romeny either.

Now matter how many times you try to make the, "But mom, every other kid in class has one.", I'm still not going to vote for either of these men.

I love all of the holier-than-thou people here who think that by not voting for Romney they will have some semblance of dignity or character.

Hey, you don't have to love me.  I do.  That's really all that matters.

As for having character, I won't vote for the likes of Romney or Obama.  You will.

In reality, you are no patriot.

Okay, well I'll have to learn to bear up under the weight of that...  Okay, done.  Next.

You and the rest of anti-Mitts only make yourselves look more and more delusional with each passing comment.

If it's delusional to refuse to vote for Leftists to be president, then please by all means label me delusional.  I recognize it as Conservative.  If you don't, that's your problem.

Or you could join those of us (also on this forum) and vote for one of the two candidates who will actually win.

In the “R” column.

Then once the election is over, get back to your real message.

That’s what I’ll be doing.

Why would I vote for someone who endorsed John McCain to spend six more years f’ing up our capital and the nation, and who also told the Tea Party he was one of them?

No thanks.

“Same here. I find it funny how some on here can rationalize Mitt’s and his views.”

Militant ScreamingFist fits in with Romney, as Fist’s “about page” says, “I am a right social moderate”

I’m no moderate and neither are you, Clyde. There are four choices when one votes - Romney, another candidate, write in someone if your state allows it, skip the presidential vote line. Whatever you choose, it is not a vote for Hussein as his name is on another line.

Anyone who doesn’t vote for Romney is a Mormon hater? You know that isn’t true, so you speak an untruth. You should stay on websites where people don’t have independent thought, just toe the line and vote the way you are told by the R elite. Don’t bother to respond.

LOL! Sorry, isn't that easy, bigmouth. The beauty is that you Mormon haters are only about 50 or so on FR. You're just very, very vocal. So....you little 50 trolls just keep spouting your nonsense, the rest of us will concern ourselves with getting the marxist out of the Whitehouse......have a nice day.

“I trust Sarah’s judgment.

Don’t you?”

Sure. It’s good to have a real choice.
Like Utah’s death penalty: Shooting or hanging.
Your choice.

Thank you WindFlier.

I doubt you relish being placed in this position any more than I do. We tried to tell them earlier this year. They wouldn’t listen the first quarter of this year, and now I’m deaf to them the last quarter of this year.

Sad. True.

I identify with your thoughts on this. You worded it nicely.

Now listen here you ignorant newbie:

You have NO BUSINESS questioning the patriotism of Freepers who refuse to vote for Romney. You can support whomever you like. Vote for the Liberal Romney for all I care. But you are here on a CONSERVATIVE website insulting people for BEING CONSERVATIVE.

You are either a troll or an idiot. Take your pick.

And after you pick, you can go screw yourself.

Some media outlets noted that Palin had failed to mention Romney during her remarks

Sarah addressed that herself. She said the host organization prohibited her from doing it because she would have jeopardized their tax exempt status.
