Did you really make a zillion dollars?
south of the boarder = south of the border
Yes, you can pack heat.
Well lets see, most of the countries round the world would be socialist, dictatorships, Theocracies....and do not allow citizens to keep and bear arms.
Glad it fits ya, but when things go south, we will need a good ol Tennessee boy on the front lines. wink wink
I think I'll just cling to my God and Gun for a bit longer.
In the winter, except for the wild life, it’s dead quiet a lot of the time. Wish it was quiet all the time. Nothing now but the A/C running - whew doggies, it’s about time! It’s been on the fritz since Sunday and it’s been over 100. 107 yesterday. Not fun but we didn’t have A/C in this house until 20 years ago.
I think a ;lot of people are going to be in church, probably praying for some essentials.
Well, I'll let you know after my 80K rounds are expended.
Somehow, I can't see running out before my time is up.
True for many they will run out of squirrels long before they run out of rounds. ;-)

I am not sure which countries you are refering to.
I have not lived in any such country.
I think you are describing the USSA if Obumbo gets another four years.
Thank you all for comforting me. I am grateful for the support and kind thoughts.
I will soldier on, as he would want me to, but life just isn’t the same without him. I distract myself by trying to learn new things, like how to tie Celtic knots.
I am praying that all of you get through the oncoming storm safely, and find good shelter with loyal friends and relatives. There is safety in having a good group to count on, and to keep your back.
God bless you all.
i thought i was the most prepared person in polk cty fla.
then came tropical depression deby.
with one tornado touched down on the other side of the lake and still having power i sat fumbling thru a pdf file on my itty bitty iphone to program my emergency solar crank radio. it took me 45 min to program the darn thing. then i realuzed my rain barrels were empty since i just drained them to clean AND then the storm knocked off the rain tubes. hence no longer filling barrels.
no mater how much we prepare its going to be a real eye opener when it happens. and it aint gonna be fun.
i am in IT too. i spent a year analyzing code and testing it. hundred thousand lines of code and i found one instsnce of a problem where yhe acctg system would have been passed 1900 instead of 2000.

I’ve been through several hurricanes and times when power went out for other reasons. After every instance, I knew what to do to make the next time better.
If you have any warning, automatically first think water, food, safety, comfort and check those items right then to make sure they are ready.
You have learned to secure those rain water pipes so they can’t come off next time. That could save your life.
Your cell phone won’t work if power goes out, neither will a walk around house phone. An old time land line phone, plug it straight into the wall kind, will still work. They are about $6-7 at Walmart if you don’t have one.
I was without power for five days after Ike, and I had a working phone and working TV and working battery emergency radio (could also crank it) with weather station and sound from two TV stations on it.
Life can go on fairly well if one prepares and the house is left standing.
re tv. i also went out on the internet to buy portable tv but now that everything is digital i found it near impossible. amazon had 2.
what do you suggest?
Tivax 7” Portable Digital TV
Has rechargeable battery built in it but that’s no help if you have no power to recharge. Buy the battery pack made for it that holds 12-AA batteries. It’s also the stand for it. Do not buy one without a separate battery pack and this one is the only one I found.
I have two sun rechargers to charge rechargeable AA batteries. Charges four AA’s at a time. Also charges other sizes.
this is an AMERICAN thread about AMERICA....maybe not bother posting if you don’t have any skin in the game...????
so you’re getting SS which means you’re of “age” and you have a “girl” and now you have a little baby boy......the picture is very clear.....
.and its God's plan...don't despair......God is in control....we might see some inhumanity and crime will go up and there will be a shortage of some things..
..but the best thing?.....you will be surprised how people will come together....it might just be the great awakening that we all want....
hang in there....
the Lord works in mysterious ways....
