Twenty years ago my teenage daughter brought this magazine into our house and her (also teenage) brother shook the publication in my face and declared it was disgusting. Since he was not exactly a choirboy at that age, I listened and read it for myself. He was right. It's stupid, with few redeeming qualities.

This seems to be a case of a callow youth just realizing what a lot of people around her probably told her for years. Cosmo has been smut from day one, including the first issue she ever picked up. There’s been no change in it.
