From my understanding, Arizona cannot sucede from the U.S. legally. What they can do is attempt it and it may wake up the rest of the states in a big way. As well as the people.

I can’t imagine how all these states think they could seceed when they take so much money from the Federal Government. Very few states would survive on their own.

Juan McCain can secede any time!

I think it would be better to have Washington DC secede.

Arizona has a fourth course. Under Article I, Section 10 of the Federal Constitution, the Federalization of the War making power has an exception, when a State is actually invaded or in immediate danger of such.
Arizona could call up the militia (its able-bodied young manhood) & deal with the invasion.
Let us not be so quick to dissolve the Union, simply because the Federal Government has temporarily fallen into anti-ethnic American hands.

How can a state that was created by the federal government claim sovereignty? This whole secession business is riciculous.

Succession is illegal and treasonous.

I cant imagine how all these states think they could seceed when they take so much money from the Federal Government. Very few states would survive on their own. Unless the "red states" can somehow band together and form a federal union themselves.

If a state were to secede, the Federal governments legal system really wouldn’t matter anymore. What are they gonna do, sue them in the World Court? Would that matter if they didn’t recognize them as well?

Arizona is landlocked and would die quickly.
The only way to win this fight is united.

Surivive? I believetThey would probably thrive. I think most people would be surprised at how much they did not miss the extra government BS which that money buys.

Given the total mess that we have in Obama, Pelosi, Reid and those who support them; our nation is in deep trouble.
Such is our situation ... trying our souls.

Total seccession is not necessary. All a state has to do is just stop taking money from the Feds and support itself. Then nullify the Fed laws it is unhappy with. That is more of a passive agressive approach and makes it much harder for the Feds to fight agains’t. If you get 10 or so states that do this at the same time and also just stop sending in the alchohol, tobacco and gas taxes to the Feds the central govt would shut down in a couple of weeks from lack of funds.
