Here is a chart from reader Tim Wallace showing social security and disability stats for June of 2012 compared to June in prior years.

Chart shows those receiving benefits. Those not in the labor force claiming a disability is much higher.

As of May 2012, the outlays are $756.9 billion annualized. Fewer worker relatively speaking, support more and more recipients with exponentially growing payments. This is supposed to work?

Public Employees + SS Benefits alone are roughly equal to private employees.

Wow, the fiscal apocalypse is already here!

Let’s not forget the 50 million or so babies we have aborted the past 40 years. These babies would have been there to “pay into” the Social Security System that most Boomers are depending on for their retirement.

Not to lighten the situation, but I suspect a big chunk of those added folks would be sitting around waiting for the Democrats to take care of them.
