Cruz - as a conservative, it is very simply put:

The Dallas Morning News endorsed Dewhurst as 1. He is a moderate 2. He will work with Democrats for legislation.

These types of RINOS are killing this country and the GOP. Recall George W. willing to draft an education bill with Ted Kennedy.

I want an in-your-face guy, and Cruz seems like that man.

Dewhurst at 66 has one maybe two terms tops on being effective. Cruz is in his young 40’s and has staying power.

I met Cruz over someone’s house last month and he seemed very energetic and said all the right words. Only knock I have is that he did not come across with the degree of humility I would have liked to see. Guess politicians never have much.

Ted Cruz, because he is a fresh face with conservative beliefs. By the way, I didn’t know we could vote before 7/31. When can we vote?

Here's a Washington Examiner article on the race. Note, in particular, Dewhurst's associations with bigtime DC lobbying firms and, especially, the leftist Podesta operation:

"Late last year, Dewhurst held a reception at the townhouse of powerful lobbying firm Podesta Group."

Yes, that's the same Podesta brothers, John and Tony, as have skulked around the murky fringes of leftist politics since the early Clinton years.

If you want a Constitutional Republican Cruz is your only choice.

btw, if you're in TX-25, vote for We Riddle for Representative.

Cruz. It seems to me that Dewhurst is a clone of Kay Bailey Hutchison, and I’m tired of “let’s all get along” Republicans. If you want to send someone to Washington to shake things up, I think there’s a better chance with Cruz. Plus, the negative ads by Dewhurst are so nasty that I’d have turned against him by now even if I had been inclined to vote for him.

Vote for Cruz as many times as they’ll let you.

We will be voting for Cruz at our house, too. I’ve heard him speak twice, and I sincerely think he’s the real deal, while Dewhurst is nothing but another entrenched politician who has no conservative appeal.

If you are in TX-14, please, please, please vote for Randy Weber. This is for seat formerly held by Ron Paul. Randy was our State Representative for two terms and so wish he had not left us. He was voted Most Conservative, has owned a profitable air conditioning business in the past, and is the best political representative I have ever had the pleasure of knowing in the 54 years I have been voting. Honest to the core, always present and available, true conservative. His wife, Brenda, is a true Texas Republican beauty. Wish we could clone both of them.

Randy’s opponent has been endorsed by Pete Olson which is really unfortunate but I am sure it is because Pete would prefer to have another Texas Congressmen who would join him in going along to get along and not make waves.

Cruz.

Tucker Anderson for State Rep 12 (Falls, Limestone, Robertson, parts of McLennan and Brazos). His runoff opponent, Kyle Kacal, supported Dem Chet Edwards and he’s pledged to Joe Straus.

David Hilburn for Brazos Co DA. His opponent supported Obama and went to the inauguration.
