Check this out. It’s the “Bug-A-Salt” housefly shotgun. Eradicate pesky houseflies with ease with this gun that requires no batteries, and simply uses table salt for ammunition. Brilliant! I’m getting one.

Bought an original spring powered Bug Gun over 20 years ago, it is still fun while elimnating flies when camping.

I got a fly zapper fly swatter at Wally World. It’s about the size of a bad-mitten racket. It zaps the snot out of fly’s and flying insects. I love it!It’ll light those bugs UP!They fry and sizzle like bacon. I could spend hours out at the security light. It’s probably made in China too? I think gun lovers/hunters will love the Bug-A-Salt!?

What’s the range?

2' or the salt spreads out too much to be effective.

It must make a heck of a mess out of your soft foods or soup when you eat!

you don’t know anything about manufacturing. It is often prohibitively expensive to find a company to manufacture stuff in this country, especially if it’s plastic. Depending on your volume or what you’re making, you may not even find one. Starting off the designer and mold maker will charge you a fortune, and that’s just for the CAD and mold, never mind actual production manufacturing. you have to be able to bring your product to market for a price people will pay, and allow for costs of packaging, freight, distribution/sales, insurance, etc etc. Sometimes it isn’t that a company/person doesn’t want to make a product here, sometimes it just isn’t feasible.

I do know about manufacturing. I worked in manufacturing for about 20 years. I do understand your points and agree with them as well. That is the sad part!

The last project I worked on pulled their product from China. There was a breach in the security with their RSA secure ID Tokens and bank cards. Our project called the Apollo project outperformed not only China, but also the robots used in production. We also were more cost efficient! It just shows that we are capable of outperforming if given the chance.
