For most purposes, just type your stuff in normally, then go to ‘spell’ and click the ‘apply corrections’ box (without paying any attention to the corrections)

Do not check the post box when doing this. You will find that your post has been converted to HTML, and then you can add in the bold or link descriptions, and then preview.
