OK!!! No more football in San Antonio!!
So, is the cop that left the dogs in the car in jail yet?
Crickets....

We get arrested for looking sideways at a f’n police dog.
Someone needs arrested for this. This should not have happened. The cruiser should have had several safety features to have protected the dogs.
Where is the announement of the arrest of the K-9 officer on multiple animal cruelty and neglect charges???
And the announcement that he has been suspended from his duties without pay?
Oh,how could I forget, the rules are different if you are a government drone.
I’m being no harsher on the un-named K-9 officer than most police would be on some “civilian”.
Tragic for those amazing dogs... (((reaching down & petting my German Shepherd, who is laying by my feet)))
I forgot that in many jurisdictions a “civilian” can be prosecuted for the death of a police dog just as if it was a human officer ;so will this officer be charged with the death of his “fellow officers”?

The dogs are no less inanimate. |
Yea, like a consciences cop (and I speak as a retired officer). I spend a lot of time on FR defending the police, but on this one I will opt out.
He broke down and begged like a baby for the death penalty,
but the judge was having none of it and sentenced him to 15 years as a Bexar County Deputy Sheriff. Ouch.
At a minimum the K-9 officer deserves to lose his badge and law enforcement career as it is obvious he is too irresponsible to be trusted with the public’s safety.I’ll skip the jailtime if he is banned for life from all government employment at any level including working as any kind of contractor for the government at any level.
And he should re-imburse the county the actual cost of procuring and traing of two police dogs.
So which ho’s house did he stop at for the night when he left the dogs in the car?
Jeez, I thoght the cops usually just shot dogs. This was slow and painful.
I have a friend who was once a K-9 officer. This was several years ago, but I remember his car was wired so that if it got over a certain temp inside the windows would roll down slightly and his lights would start flashing, all of which was to keep something like this from happening.
Inexcusable.
You’re going to hate this one.
The perp should be on TV being frog marched.....
