They always forget that there was a huge rock show and Barry Hussein was kind of invited for the before thing.

These days Bath House Barry couldn’t fill a Chik-Fil-A with people that weren’t being paid, trucked in, bussed in or given the day off whatever government job they fill a chair in to go.

I hadn’t heard about Costas’ remarks. And judging by what I’m reading about Brits not being too warm on the games, I suspect this is mostly jealousy.
Pretty thin skinned, if you ask me. I suspect it’s jealousy over his handling of the 2002 Olympics more than anything. From what I’ve read, the Brits aren’t too keen about the games.

Yup! They know the Bamster is in big re-election trouble so they grasp at any perceived "gaffe" by Romney like it is some really big deal in the vain hope it will somehow change the electoral equation. A lot of times you can spot such threads since they frequently have "OMG!" in the title.

That it was. Even some of the Brits, the relatively conservative ones, did not like all the left-wing crap. The tribute to the NHS had to be the topper. But also the "Britian is now a multicultural PC paradise" sketch was a bit much. And the whole thing was too long.
Some of the ceremony I did like, especially James Bond and the Queen, and Mr. Bean, who always makes me laugh.

Also, I caught most of the opening ceremony but not all. Was there any mention of Romney's supposed "gaffes" and how this was so terrible? I didn't hear any.
