Netflix (Nasdaq: NFLX) subscribers in the United States would be able to join the online-video company's customers abroad in sharing their movie-rental picks on Facebook, under a Senate proposal tied to controversial federal cybersecurity legislation.

OK, I'll bite - why is the Senate getting involved in Netflix picks? Who cares what you share on Facebook?
How is this different form sharing music files?
Because it’s only sharing the fact that you viewed them, not them.
one more example of too DAMN MUCH REGULATION... there is no reason there should have been a law to stop this and certainly not a need to fix it. OH wait I know they need lobbiest money in Washington, so the screw companies in order to HELP THEM. “STOP IT” stop the regulations, the taxes and spending.
