Their attacks fueled a predictably pointless cycle of over-the-top outrage, with religious conservatives like Tea Party star Mike Huckabee coming to the business’ defense and organizing a “Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day” to support freedom of speech and freedom of religion.

Pointless? Nay! I disagree! The point was well made indeed and these MSM Jackasses know it too. They have tried to hide the story by not reporting on it while it occurred. There is a silent majority and their primary way of voicing their opinions is through the judicious use of their money to support their fellows.

Unlike the Left’s use of of yelling and screaming, intimidation, and in-your-face antics.

And now... They are starting to edge toward the cliff of insignificance as we demonstrate to them that we are the adults in the room and they are the screaming children having another tantrum. Someone is about to go to bed with no supper and a very sore bottom.

Ich denke was ich will und was mich beglücket,

Chick-Fil-A isn’t complaining. The location at Montgomery Plaza usually makes about $12,000 on a normal Wednesday. The restaurant pulled in $20,000 yesterday, a supervisor said this morning."

That sounds pretty bogus. I have been to Chick-fil-A on a normal day and I was also there this past Wed.(twice in fact). Judging from the number of people in line on a normal day vs. this past Wed. their sales on Wed. had to be at least 100 times what a normal day would be.

It’s funny to me. They really are clueless to anything except their own agenda.
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
Let’s be honest, there was nothing at stake here. Those mayors were never going to forcibly close down a Chick-Fil-A. It was cheap grandstanding. And whatever the Fox News heads say, a bunch of people showing up to buy chicken sandwiches isn’t exactly a referendum on gay marriage
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

We are having a referendum on gay ,marriage here in Maryland this November, we will see then what God-fearing people think of perverts marrying.

“though one wonders how many of these same people boycotted the Dixie Chicks for speaking out against the Iraq War in 2003”

What? I did and I really liked their music. But the statement in this context makes no sense.

I don’t think any one could TELL our Sarah anything.

Most likely, no one told her that she SHOULDN’T run.

It’s not just democracy; it’s the American understanding of family. The point of marriage has hereforeto been a union between a man and a woman that embodies 1) a lifelong commitment to one another and 2) the proper means through which procreation and childbirth occur.

Liberalism has destroyed the lifelong commitment part. It’s very much made the emphasis a hedonistic emphasis on what makes one happy. Now they’re trying to destroy child-rearing as part of that definition, and they’re doing a fair job.

Clearly, children raised by one biological mother and father do better. I see that routinely, day-in and day-out in the medical world. Imagine living in a society where your parents begin expressing, “Well Tommy, if you decide to marry a girl, you can choose to have children.” Do you think birth rates are going to drop?

They absolutely will. So will the definition of family and the importance of such.

But that’s a philosophical factor that doesn’t cross the mind of the hedonist after the next tail that passes by.

Ja, passt das auch. Sie können gefängnis einen körper, aber man kann nicht einen geist gefangen. Zumindest nicht, ohne es zu beschädigen zuerst.

Sarah Palin said she asked her family to see if they were ok with her running for PRESIDENT. And Bristol ( I think it was her) told SArah not to run. So Sarah was listening to her family and who wouldn’t as the media was going after her family. So Bristol did have something to do with it if not the straw that broke the camel’s back. Thanks Bristol for destroying the U.S. what do you mean VP campaign? I was talking about her running for president.

Thousands? More like thousands PER LOCATION. Try “millions”.

Yeah probably tens of millions in total Americans.

The media is just lying . it totally ignored one of the biggest stories of the year.Instead the media bombards us with a made up Trayvon saga.

Well, this all goes back to the root problem. There is a rule of publicity - everything, anything that does not directly contribute to the campaign is a detriment. So when Bristol sucked attention away from the campaign with her unwed teenaged pregnancy, that was a huge detriment. Imagine how the campaign would have gone if Bristol had been, say, in college as a pre-med student, or a math major, or even at a music school. Then all of the headlines would have gone to Sarah and her ideas, because there would have been nothing to say about a math major or a piano student.
Then, not only did Bristol have a child out of wedlock, the boyfriend turned out to be a treacherous, publicity seeking a**, and all that gave our enemies in the msm a field day. So of course Bristol didn’t want more exposure. It all goes back to her getting pregnant by a worthless jerk, and making herself a target for jokes on Letterman. What joke could Letterman and all the rest of the scum make about an innocuous young woman going to college, or working in her father’s fishing business, or who has started a business designing buttons? usually makes about $12,000 on a normal Wednesday

If the Chick-Fil-A I ate at averaged $12,000 on a normal Wednesday, they would have had to top $200,000 this past Wednesday. What I mean to say they easily had twenty times the number of customers of a normal Wednesday.

It was a pure delight to see, talk to, and be among so many like-minded people.

Reporters have no clue regarding revenue vs. profit.

Makes 12000??? Good grief.
