“...we should have had socialism already but for the Socialists...”
Notice the glaring logical flaw here?
1) Socialists are incompetent.
2) However, socialist ideas are correct, even though the people who created them and try to execute them are incompetent.
Inherent in this is also the assumption that people who see that socialism is ca-ca are wrong or ignorant, based on the opinion of socialists.
What isn’t noted is that socialists are so convinced of the rightness of their faith, that they have no pattern recognition, and expect different outcomes from the same ideas that have always failed.
Meaning that socialism doesn’t even rise to the level of religious faith, but is little more than superstition, and a willingness to gamble with other people’s money in games with impossible odds.
So, in the final analysis, all Bernard Shaw or Van Jones are saying is that, “I’ll lie about being superstitious, and knock on wood, I won’t get caught.”
Oh! THAT Bernard Shaw.
I started watching CNN during desert storm. I stopped the day Clinton was impeached and Shaw and Woodruff cried on air. Supposed “journalists.”
