This is just an intro as to why I have started this blog. My first formal post on a specific topic will be tomorrow. Take a look at the date and perhaps you can guess what that topic will be.

I already have a ton of writing projects (some you don't even know about) so why add another one? Because I really think the "10 Things You Don't Know About" could become really popular if they fine tune a few things such as the suggestion above about ditching the street interviews. My main purpose will be to be both enlightening as well as entertaining.

Oh, the one thing I did find one VERY enlightening (and entertaining) thing from the History Channel show which was in the episode about the Rat Pack. It was the first time I found out that Joey Bishop scripted the Rat Pack show at the casino and that he was the brains behind the Rat Pack. Joey Bishop? Who knew?

Great idea. You may want to also look at some of the lists posted to cracked.com.

While they sometimes stray into vulgar and profane territory that wouldn't be welcome on FR, they do seem to have a pretty good formula for presenting information in an entertaining way.
