Horrible that it happened, but why would any gay person want to live in such places like Montana or Texas. Places are full of ignorance and hate. Move to the coast where you can live safely and happily, and these types are the minority.

Does that mean he gets paid to teach other homos how to beat themselves up by doing back flips on concrete and then running to the cops with a fake story? I wish someone would do a tally on these “hate” hoaxes er crimes, and see what the ratio of faked to real is. It seems virtually or at least a very high percentage of “hate” crimes concerning people of a certain sexual persuasion are faked. You’d think the lib dopes would catch on after a while. But they never do. Now I know how they got the phrase “drama queens.”

I haven't done an in depth study, but I have kept my ears open ever since Tawana Brawley. (Plenty of these type stories on the local news down here in Atlanta. Black family moves in....some weeks later, N-word sprayed on garage door)

So far it has been 100% (not "most", not "just about") but 100%, every single time, without exception, it has been a fake perpetrated by the "victim".

If that Lincoln, Nebraska case doesn't come back as phony, I'll eat my hat and adjust my number to 98%.

I would bet by now even most bleeding-heart libs groan every time they read about these “hate crimes.” But since libs are the most easily duped and gullible (and ignorant) people in the universe, a core contingent will still be set up by the hoaxers only to served a hot plate of crow at the end of the story. It seems just as all political vandalism and attempts to shut down free speech come from the left, all hate crime hoaxes come from the left as well.
