The guys at the dump don’t want out of state or out of county dumping for free. The landfill isn’t a free dump site for just anyone who comes along, someone has to pay for it’s existence.

Here in New Jersey if you go vote and attempt to show an ID card, they scream at you to “put that away!”

I have to show my ID when I go to the town dump, to prove I'm a town resident. Our landfill’s rates are cheaper than the city's I leave on the outskirts of; so we charge non-residents more than that city does, to keep them from bringing their trash here.

Illegals should count as ‘out-of-state’. The horror story here is that citizens are required to show ID to use a public amenity, but illegals are not!
