I agree SE Mom...and entirely new Romney.

I am floating on air in hopes that our Country will turn around!

If Obama wins...I am leaving...or getting ready for CWII! Still narrowing down my choices.

The Democrats should be afraid because with Romney/Ryan, the GOP has the most socially progressive/leftist ticket in history. No matter who is elected, you can 100% count on huge strides for the same sex marriage advocates.

Ryan may have good fiscal conservative bonafides, but culturally he sides with the Democrats. The Romney campaign wants this election to be all about the budget and spending, I guess. It seems the GOP has laid down their arms in the “culture wars”.

So who will evangelicals vote for this time around? They have no defender in 2012.

Outstanding pick. The (D)Ullards are pretty glum right now. Good. I came to support Romney because he was the only viable alternative to Gutsy Call and his senile Uncle. Now, I can say I wholeheartedly support the (R) ticket. Ryan v. Biden. Debate?

Isn’t there a rule about cruel and unusual punishment and abuse of the mentally ill?

The dims probably would have had objections had Romney picked Jesus Christ as his running mate.

Oh, wait - of course they’d have objections. They dislike his policies too.

I’m just waiting for the first VP debate, between Biden and Ryan. It’ll be pure pleasure to watch, but almost unfair.

A battle of wits against an unarmed man.

I checked out DU.
They say they are not worried.
Concensus was there would be more to worry about with Rubio.

This is an outrageously baseless foundationless post. Explain yourself or go away, troll.

It was only hours before the announcement that the Democrats were crowing about their “commanding” lead in several of the swing states, all of which were primarily “push-polling”, in which the Democrats were clearly oversampled, the lists were extended to include REGISTERED voters (as contrasted to “likely” voters), and a large slice of Hispanics, probably in excess of their voting history and current demographics, were also included.

It will take a few days for this really pivotal announcement to work its way into the polls being (somewhat honestly) reported, and perhaps longer for the Democrats to adjust their strategy in the light of these shifting numbers.

But it will come down to the same thing, once the Republican convention is history. Paul Ryan is going to be painted as the person who would push Granny off the cliff in her wheelchair, and Mitt Romney will again be pressed to “prove” he is not a felon.

If that is their best shot, then either they cannot find anything else, or they are just about out of ammunition, even with these charges.

He can’t dump Biden. Biden is assassination insurance. No one would whack him for fear Biden would become president. Not even crazy people think that is a good idea.

What specific social issue do you fear Ryan is weak about?

I still will not vote for Mitt. I voted for McCain in the last simply because of Palin. I am not doing that again.

What I like - Ryan proposed a federal budget, Obama hasn’t in nearly four years. That’s a strong point.

Thanks for your on the spot report, SE Mom.

I hope R & R make it to Minnesota for a campaign stop. It’s doubtful though given this state’s blue history.

I like Ryan a lot and your words lifted my spirits regarding this election.

Can you point out where he culturally sides with the Democrats? Everything I've researched points out that he is against gay marriage and is very pro-life.

Ryan is smart and courageous...Obama is a fake and scared to death that he might be found out.

Ryan will push Obama out into the open!

The pendulum has swung back to the right (and to the Truth)! Obama must face the consequences!

People like you make me absoutely crazy. Do you really want another four years of Obama?! I don’t like Romney either, but I sure as hell like Obama less.

After reading this:

I'm DEFINITELY voting for Romney-Ryan. What's Obama doing promoting their opponent?
