Some estimates have the Monterey Shale at 1 Trillion, but I’m a conservative, and what’s in the ground may not necessarily be easy to extract.
We’re fortunate in that our twenty acres is in Kings County, which is an area of natural gas. A gas strike has recently occurred not too far from our property, and gas is easier to acssess that viscous, low-pressure petroleum.
