Why do you need special software to make business cards?
I like to make my own cards rather than order them. Now, if I don’t need special software, please let me know!!!
If you are utilizing any version of MS Office I suggest you download business card templates from the MS Office website.
It is used by old school software gamers mostly. It might just save yer old program.
I use Photoshop now, but in the past I have used the Windows “paint” program to design business cards, the paste them into MS Word using the “labels” feature. You can buy the Avery label business card stock and print them a pageful at a time.
I still make them that way, but use Photoshop for the “design” phase now.
Insofar as your “Print Shop” program, if it’s the old DOS based version you might have trouble using it on the later versions of Windows, from “XP” forward.
Avery has software to work with their products, but it works with generic business print products, too.
I use Open Office for most document creation, but make and order my business cards from VistaPrint because I think pull apart business cards are cheap and sad looking.
I was just going to say Vista print as well. Excellent software and cheap business cards. Beats buying software, printer cartridges, business card paper.
best $10 you could spend on business cards.
My standard computer advice: “Set fire to it quickly and dump it from the dock before it turns on you.”
Business cards are cheap at Office Depot.
For posting this inane ‘article’ you win the award of dumbest post of the day!
I use the same software you use but I had to go to the link below so it would run on my new computer...it worked for me.

How about Google and “best business card software”. Or “ best business card freeware”. How about CNET and their software reviews?
At the very least it’ll save you from being insulted here.
The guy posted his vanity because he wants to make his own cards and asked for advice from Freepers about it.
Don't be an ass.
Gimp
“...nothing happens, absolutely nothing!”
Hmm, running as administrator?
Still odd. May be a bad copy of the program.
Might try ‘compatibility mode’.
