No. We the tea party are doing the heavy lifting. Or were until many of the weaker ones caved-in and surrendered. We are doing the heavy lifting because our so-called Republican “leaders” went AWOL!!
I resigned from the Republican party two years ago, because the "official" party held ME in so much contempt — as a bona fide member of the Tea Party.
When the GOP decided that their own "grass roots" — i.e., Tea Party conservatives — were, for all their "official" purposes, to be held in contempt, I HAD to leave. For to me, it was obvious the "official party" had simply lost its mind. It seemed that in its insanity, its "big-tent" delusions, the GOP was plainly disparaging its own natural base — and I took it "personally."
I am now an "Independent" (in Massachusetts, read "Unenrolled") voter. I like it just fine that way.
I hope you were not suggesting that I am one of "the weaker ones [who] caved-in and surrendered" to the GOP status quo. I mainly detest those morons.... That's why I left the party.
At this point, may I just note that a whole bunch of bona-fide Tea Partiers have made their peace and are now supporting the Romney/Ryan ticket???
