What's so chilling about this little snippet is that it precisely reflects the intent of the monsters in and beyond the white House. My corollary to this is that it is nothing less than a reflection of the will to power - the desire to rule and ultimately, to kill without conscience or consequence. This is the spectre that haunts the modern world.

You know that I'm not much of an optimist anymore, but I am actually beginning to see a bit more of an awakening (of sorts) over the past year or so. Certainly not the type of numbers necessary, but at least some of the fog seems to be lifting a bit. At this point I suppose that I am grasping at straws, but at least I am seeing some small steps in the right direction!
