Park Rangers have one of the most dangerous jobs in law enforcement.

How many Park Rangers were killed in the line of duty at the hands of criminals in 2011?

Why are you evading the above question?

Once again, if being a park ranger is so dangerous, you should be able to list all those killed in the line of duty at the hands of criminals for 2011.

Stop evading and lets see the list.

Put up or shut up.

It is relatively common knowledge in law enforcement circles that park ranger is the most dangerous job for a myriad of reasons that you are clearly not interested in.

You're full crap.

You made this statement below:

>>"Park Rangers have one of the most dangerous jobs in law enforcement."<<

You were asked: How many Park Rangers were killed in the line of duty at the hands of criminals in 2011?

This is a simple legitimate question in response to your own statement.

Instead of directly responding to the question, you start babbling about all these other federal jobs in a glaring weak attempt to divert and evade.

Answer the GD question Mr. volunbeer.

It was obviously a mistake including you, since you can't distinguish the difference between a simple legitimate question and a flame war or battle as you put it.

You can go back to your juvenile quips without the devastating worry of being pinged.

Hey drag2,why are you addressing me in your ‘battle’ with v’beer? Am not a part of your battle. Leave me out of it. I do not care whether either of you have ‘an axe to grind’.

Funny, ya take the time to read the exchange but get all offended when pinged, scared to death you’re being drug into something against your will...lol

In any event, don’t worry, I’ll never subject you to a pinging punishment again. Same goes for gagapa.

You know, I agree with the fact that it takes a lot of ammo for practice. Per Appleseed experience I use a LOT of 22 longs for (long gun) target practice because it is a lot cheaper, and it works.

But....but.... the question is really why are so many agencies getting enough ammo to do a lot of serious firearms training when most of these agencies really shouldn’t have a bunch of personnel well trained in firearms in the first place?

Dept of Education needs its own SWAT team(s)? Social Security needs a small army of agents well versed in small arms? And so on. No. The federal government has adequate armed and trained law enforcement agents to go out and handle the needs of these various (so called) benign agencies and departments. They don’t need their own in house soldiers.

This whole argument about how much ammo it takes to train and stay competent is looking like a smokescreen, a convenient detour from the real issue. Of course it takes a lot of ammo to be competent. But this whole fairy tale of *who* needs all this ammo is crapolla. The federal government never tells the whole truth when lying is convenient. IMO, the feds would lie about anything even if the truth played better. It’s their nature.

And yeah, no matter who is getting it, it’s still too much ammo.

Ya don’t use hollow points for target practice. No one with a brain does that. It’s an absolute waste of resources and money.
