BTW...like your screen name...takes me back...we're not youngsters anymore..My first involvement in politics was in 1964..in HS..handing out Goldwater literature at NYC subway stations....I should have got combat pay for doing that..

I thought Goldwater was 1960 but then I’m not good on dates. I lived in NYC for 10 months after getting out of school but hated the city. Remember taking the A train to work—it was a pittance then. I need grass and trees and open spaces. Amazing you survived. In fact I remember the Rosenbergs were executed when I lived there—down on 13th street. People were rioting over at Union Square.
