In brief, I agree about Obama, but not about Romney.

I can vote for the lesser evil until a certain line is crossed. Regretably, Romney crosses that line. He has a proven record of gay marriage support and taxpayer funded abortion support, under the guise of socialist healthcare.

I don’t vote for ANYONE who intends to kill babies. Sorry, but that includes both Obama and Romney.

Yes, Obama is worse, but not much worse. It’s on the record.

The state health care law signed by Romney didn’t say anything about abortion. Instead, an independent government body, the Commonwealth Connector, later decided that subsidized insurance plans would include coverage for abortion. And the Commonwealth Connector may have had little choice but to do so. In 1981, the Massachusetts Supreme Court ruled that women eligible for Medicaid had a state constitutional right to payments for medically necessary abortions. In 1997, the state high court again ruled that Massachusetts must cover medically necessary abortions if it covers other medically necessary care, such as childbirth

Romney is better than Obama.
Romney might actually save some lives.

Therefore, your prideful refusal to improve our current status is absurd.

Romney has the support of the National Right to Life Committee. He is hardly “pro abortion”.

You will make it possible for more abortions to happen.

Think of this like a war:

Which hill will you attack first? The enemy is firing from two different positions. You must make a choice. No matter what you decide, people will die.

Which decision brings victory faster?

Which decision defends life, in the long run?

The one guy believes in a little prayer and counseling before killing the baby. The other guy doesn't.

My relatives with the General Assembly and the Church of the First Born do some prayer over their babies as they die of conditions commonly cured by modern medicine ~ they do some counseling too.

Barbarians and cultists are all alike ~ how can anyone vote for either of these guys. I am embarrassed to know so terribly many people who are not at all bothered by these things.

Zero is a thousand times worse for the economy and defense.

You are dismissed as myopic socon who can’t think for himself, but gets his thinking from a book that knows nothing about political realities and some windbag guy in a pulpit who knows jack about fiscal matters.

BTW, I’m Catholic and pro-life, but that’s not the important issue at the moment.

“Regretably, Romney crosses that line. He has a proven record of gay marriage support”

Romney’s consistent stated position has been for traditional marriage. He held that position in 2002 when he criticized the mass supreme court ruling, and he stated it last week.
The Republican party’s consistent stated position has been for traditional marriage.
Obama’s stated position has been for gay marriage.
The Democratic party’s stated position has been for gay marriage. They have appointed judges who call it a constitutional right, passed it in state houses and openly push the envelope on it daily.

No matter what you think Romney did or didnt do in Massachusetts, the positions are stark clear and different. There are 2 things the President can actually do: Defend DOMA (or not), and appoint judges. Obama wont defend DOMA and will appoint judges who will call gay marriage a right.
4 more years under Obama, and gay marriage will be - through tossing of DOMA - law of the land.
Romney will defend DOMA.

“I don’t vote for ANYONE who intends to kill babies. “
Prolife Romney wont do that. Romney is as prolife as GHWBush was. Allowing Obama a second term will allow the HHS mandates and taxpayer funding of abortion in Obamacare to continue.

If you care about those issues, it seems pretty insane to let extremist pro-abort pro-gay marriage Obama get re-elected.
And America is at stake for a lot more reasons than those two issues anyway.

Which is not to mention his repeated disses and expressions of contempt ("they'll vote for me when I'm the last man standing") for conservatives, his ditching Texas completely, and sending out his Children of the Corn to backstab and calumniate Sarah Palin at every turn since during the 2008 campaign, and after.

Another one issue freeper who pretends to be a conservative.
The president can do nothing about abortion, that is up to the SCOTUS. He can only nominate pro life candidates. No Republican will knowingly nominate a pro choice candidate.

my freeper days will be over if obammy wins...just won't be able to take all the whinning by people like YOU when things keep getting worse and worse...

I know you've been here a long time, but you've lost it completely..

You are on drugs.

Just look at what Ears has done/is doing to the energy industries in this country.

No rational person can draw the conclusions you have. 'Pod.
