Enjoy the mirth, but whining about the trashing of the Electoral College in favor of a national popular vote will ring hollow. Make no mistake, that’s where this is headed, and it ain’t just Democrats who are doing it.

Not in our lifetime. Remember, it would have to be changed via constitutional amendment and the small/swing states would block it for sure.

Constitution? What's that? No one seems particularly intrigued that our putative President has every appearance of not being eligible for office. Anyone who has the temerity to question this is derided and tinfoiled by not just Democrats but leading Republicans.

They've just determined to ignore it and plow ahead. Sort of like the treatment of delegates we've witnessed over the space of two weeks by both parties. Sort of like the passing of Obamacare. Sort of like nationalizing General Motors.

They're just going to plow right into it and dare anyone who opposes to weather the character assassination.
