Even the teachers know what a crappy job they are doing.

The teachers are supposedly striking for “job security” which is union speak for making sure the really, really shitty teachers don’t get fired.

I'd love to see that stat for the teachers who actually reside within the Chicago school system boundaries. I bet it's 80+

Wow. This from the DoE itself? You know it's bad!

Unless, of course, all those proficiency tests are just racist from the get-go.....

They’re just giving you the downside.

A robust 3 of 100 students in the Chicago system goes on to graduate from a 4 year college !!

Yeah... we joke.... but my gawd, it’s just heartbreaking to think of all those kids, all that amazing potential, simply swallowed up and lost in the politics/rhetoric/demagoguery of it all. Most with parent(s) who could not care less.

Only one President sent their kids to public school and that was the Worst President in history, President James Carter.

That is a tragedy.

This is an outrage:

79% of Chicago 8th grade students can’t read.

I don't have a problem with this. Would you? Neil Boortz says that putting children in public government schools is a form of child abuse and neglect. Things weren't always that way...they don't have to be.

The Great Society was a huge success.

It damaged black people far more than the KKK ever dreamed about.

Later on, he refused to allow his children to attend Washington D.C.'s public schools. I think that was the last time he made a correct decision.

The Bush twins attended public schools for elementary and high school. For middle school they did go to private school.
