My Mom knew of a lady in her small hometown in Nevada, many years ago, who homeschooled her kids. She said lady had converted an old railroad passenger car into a school room! Mom told me that her kids (one girl was a friend of hers)went to college even earlier than she and her brother and sisters did!
The one family I know fairly well that home schools has been a major success. They have two boys who went to San Jose State at around age 16. The Daughter started a the local Junior college at age 15! The fourth son is about 12.
Did I mention that the two older boys gained their Eagle ranks WHILE IN COLLEGE, i.e. they organized their Eagle Projects while pulling a full load at SJSU!
