Gotta love her common touch and her empathy with an America that is in the worst financial downturn since the Great Depression, and her Husbands (and her) policies are on the verge of making the current downturn worse than the Great Depression.
She spent more money formulating her finger nail polish than the median American family makes in gross wages in a year.
This is the kind of lavish, expensive and self indulgent behavior one usually associates with African Dictators who steal the wealth of their people to squander on ostentatious conspicuous consumption while the people of their country starves.
And our slavish, trendy media reports this kind of outrageous behavior with with such breathless admiration and hero worship that it is embarrassing.
All the more so because the African press publicizes this kind of extravagance under duress and the threat of torture and jail should they displease the Big Guy, while our Media fawns over the kind Obama extravagant self indulgence, and opulent conspicuous consumption with a voluntary exuberance that is in sharp contrast to the way have reported the behavior of Republican First Ladies or the wives of foreign leaders.
The Obamas seem to be trying to be the living embodiment of the ultra wealthy, casually opulent and extravagant King and Queen in Eddie Murphy's classic comedy movie , "Coming to America."
Unfortunately, with the Obama's real life behavior, the joke is on us, the American People.

True. But at least the people under African dictators can be forgiven since they don’t have a choice. But here in the US we have a 50% brain-dead electorate where the Obamas can do no wrong even as they accelerate US to Third World status. The Islamic world mocks us, Russia’s Putin tells us to get lost, and China ignores the US. In Reagan’s time you would never think of the candidates appearing before Telemundo, now its de riguer.
Demographics is destiny. And we may have reached the tipping point if not arrived at the point of no return. Even as our embassies are attacked in the Middle East, no worries, thousands line outside the consular offices of these countries getting US visas. How else can one account for the scum that have come to our country, who are now elected to Congress, impressed the ACLU to their cause, and changed the political dynamic of an electorate and a nation for the worse.
