I do live in a battleground state and there is a noticeable lack of Romney and Obama signs and bumper stickers. There are more Obama stickers than Romney stickers, but that perhaps reflects the popularity of hybrid cars and Subaru Forresters in the Northeast, and it seems that nearly every Prius and Subaru you see sports an Obama sticker.

But this is more disturbing: I have now visited Romney's regional campaign headquarters and the Republican state headquarters a total of five times over the past month.

They have no yard signs and no bumper stickers. None. Zero. I have been told that the entire state is "dry" and that repeated requests from the campaign offices have gone unfulfilled. Today I saw the first Romney campaign ad that I have seen in weeks (although Obama ads are on every day).

Make of that what you will, but if they're going to start a ground campaign here, they'd better do it soon.

Terrible for a battleground state.

Heard yesterday that none are available here in MA. You have to pay for them, or go to NH, a battleground state.
