China now has the world’s premier industry.

Our is more biased towards the military at the moment, but China’s is growing and there are aspects of their weaponology which are hidden from us.

China is a very formidable competitor. Even now.

Do not discount China.

China doesn’t have air cover which means they are “F”ed in any combat situation. They may have a floating Russian tub that resembles a carrier but it won’t be functional for air support for years, at best!

I agree with you. Perhaps it is terribly trite, but I am reminded of the "Star Wars" movie series. Time after time, people speak of Darth Vader. He's the evil one. Everyone is afraid of Darth Vader. And then Obi-Wan Kenobi says:

Military power is based on economic power. Most economists think that China’s economy will pass the USA in the next 10 to 20 years.

China’s economy was largely built by the USA.

What you can’t discount is the willingness of the left to subvert and destroy this country. That’s the real threat.
