A quick thank you to the kind words and support that I recieved here this last June when I giddily announced I had published a book. I recieved some wonderful feedback and some very helpful advice as I forged forward in this new career of writing and selling book.
Last week I launched my second book and I feel secure in my decision to become a book seller. The book I released is called "Bible Stories for Grown-Ups" and is a collection of 39 stories from the Bible designed to be read by anyone, especially those without a background in the Bible.
For anyone who would love to try and write and publish a book, I say go for it. This is the gold rush era for self-publishing and while not everyone will be successful at it, this timeframe is the best opportunity to have success. Even if you don't think you are good enough to put something out, go ahead and try. The book police aren't going to show up at your house and beat you up because you put out something that doesn't sell. If that were the case, a lot of successful authors would have been beaten to a pulp in their first few tries.
Even if you don't think this book is something you might want to buy, I encourage you to at least download the sample from Amazon and see what you think.

Can I get it through a different vendor?
Working on getting it up on Barnes and Noble, but Amazon makes it so easy to self-publish, that’s the way most self-publishers start.
Thanks in advance, and congrats once again!
Absolutely! Thank you.
Congratulations. Is it only in Kindle. I’d like hard copy to send to certain “grown ups” in my family.
It is available in paperback as well.
And I should probably have included the direct link to the paperback. Let’s try that again.

Congratulations! I know how much hard work that is just to finish and say, “Well, it’s done!”
Thanks...I believe I’ll be buying some...!!!
Congratulations!
Pulling the trigger locks me up everytime. But it’s getting easier. I think I am fortunate to have started with some short stories first. That allowed me practice at “finishing”.
I bought it, will read to FrogDad on a long trip we are taking later this month.
Thanks!
Wow, thank you all for the kind words and responses. I am working to have it available on Barnes and Noble by the end of the week.
Hi Flycatcher,
My book is now available on Barnes and Noble. Here is the link:

I'm working away from home for the next week but I'll order it next weekend when I'm back home. Told my wife about it too. She loves the premise. We may be ordering more.
All the best!
