Pasadena (CA) Man Pleads to Charge He Killed Dog with Hammer

A Pasadena man on trial for beating a neighbor’s dog to death with a hammer pleaded no contest to the charge in the middle of trial on Friday, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
Young Song, 42, a former animator at Glendale-based Dreamworks Animation, pleaded to a felony count of cruelty to an animal and a misdemeanor theft charge after jurors saw a videotape of the April 2011 incident.

As I recall, the a-hole was a current employee of Dreamworks at the time of the crime and dragged the dog away. The body was never found.

Stories like this anger me so much, especially now when I’m trying to keep a cat alive with kidney failure. All I know is that there is a special place in Hell for these people unless they express remorse and repent for their deeds.

Horrible, depressing story! My shepard-mix rescue dog is laying at my feet right now, my little dog is sprawled out on the floor after a hard afternoon of play. The cat is curled up somewhere too.
Unbelievable that someone could do this - I hope the other prisoners learn that this sadist killed a pet dog with a hammer...I don’t think it would go over too well with them...

Oh crap. I just came from a post about some pos that cut his puppy’s (Pit) ears off. Today, a guy in San Antonio beat his dog so viciously that he severed one of the dog’s ears.
