Then it up to Romney to be ready for it and beat them at their own game. Leaders lead, they do not blame everyone else for their failures. He wants the job, well he is going to have to earn it.

Tickets – Tickets for each debate are controlled by the Commission on Presidential Debates and are extremely limited since the debates are primarily produced for television. The majority of tickets are distributed to host university students and faculty through a lottery system. Please click the “Tickets” link next to the college name listed below for further information
sez it all. University students are obamas peeps

I see that “Gallup” (the poll people?) is going to select the participants. Romney needs to be on his toes. No telling what inane questions these folks will come up with. Will the participants be “vetted”? But at least we’ll have some comic relief from Ryan vs. Biden this week. Popcorn machine will be fired up and ready. “Stand up Chuck”.

Helping keep mankind warm for 65 years.

Great answer.

If I were Romney I start the debate looking at Obama and saying “President Obama at a rally the day after our first debate you called me a liar. I’d like you to say that to me,to my face, in front of this audience and the nation.”

Romney may not have perfect politics, but he is the first Presidential candidate I’ve seen since Reagan who embodies leadership.

With Bush, McCain, and other candidates, I was always scared of how they would be put on the spot by certain trick questions. Romney does not invoke that fear at all in me.

It seems that while polls have not made a huge swing, there is a lot of weakening in the internals. Lots of independents and Democratic “O” votes have softened and fallen away from the “Certain to vote for Obama” column. His image is weakened, but not destroyed. People out there are still hoping that they didn’t really see the real Obama on Wednesday.

Romney knocked Obama on his back and needs to execute the finishing move. A repeat of the first debate will result in a good probability of a landslide IMO.
