He’s never run so much as a hot dog cart or the notions department at a small dollar store and yet we made him the chief executive of the most powerful nation in the history of the world. Why is it surprising that he’s failing? Even if he’d been well-intentioned he’d have failed. We’d have been better off having a lottery or picking someone randomly out of the phone book.
