The NYT article was incredibly disturbing. This eagerness to put our children — more often than not, our little boys — on drugs to “help them concentrate” and “control their emotions” is impossible to understand.
I couldn’t believe how cheerfully they quoted Dr. Anderson talking about giving children these medications as a way to succeed in school even though he said he didn’t believe in the diagnosis.
This academic needs a date with a rope and a lamp post.
