I heard news of a plane missing in central Texas on Sunday, the 7th. If this is the same one....prayers that they are found to be safe and sound.

I am sorry to report that the plane has been found and there are no survivors. Thank you all for your continued prayers. My 2nd cousin was a great young man with a bright future ahead of him. I can’t imagine what his parents and sister are going through. I have a daughter about his age.

They are supposed to start recovery operations around 6am today. It's in a secluded area on a cliff ledge at some 9,800 ft.

Crews will have to walk in to the area, three to five miles minimum before we can go up to the site, he said. Because of the terrain and the location of the plane, we needed people who have the technical gear to get up there.

Laramie Peak below. The summit is 10,000, 9,800' is about where the cluster of outcrops begins down from the summit after the first draw.
