You see that little trick he played? How many times did he just say “gun”, before *once* saying “illegal gun”?

I suspect they are hoping to get a listing of *legal* gun owners, based on informants, and then *not* paying the informants their “thousand dollahs”, because the guns are legal.

However, this being said, I think it is a STUPENDOUS opportunity to monkey wrench these petty tyrants.

For instance, there are probably lots of places where there are crack houses, gang houses, etc., that the police do not bust, because they are afraid of them. But now such places can be narked as “where they have an illegal gun”.

So “Da Mayor” will order the police to bust those places, and in the process clean out the crack smokers and gang bangers. Haw-haw! Making the police arrest real criminals rather than harass honest citizens with legal guns.

So your neighbor Zelda Armpit pees herself when she even sees a picture of a “gunz”.

You have a permit or other lawful means of moving around with your weapon.

Do you really think Zelda isn’t going to drop a quarter on you ever time she sees you?

What you are saying is that liberal bed wetters actually can tell the difference between a legal and illegal carry. Sorry my man, to a pinko, all gunz are illegal.

The cops will be deluged and legal owners will be forced to hide.

And what about the jerkmoron neighbor who just wants to ruin your day for sh!tz and giggles?

Oh wow, this is just bad, bad, bad.

Rat cher neighbor out, we pay cash!

in a state (NJ) where TPTB won't “grant” honest citizens a “permit” to carry a firearm, in spite of the clear language of the 2nd Amd?

Obey the law or change the law, but break the law at your own peril.

This is not about Illinois where “honest citizens” may not be issued a carry permit. Residents of New Jersey may be issued concealed carry permits.

The problem with an illegal gun is that it’s difficult to use for self-defense. Because if you do, the cops will want to get a look at it, and even though the bad guy may be dead, you may be facing a felony.

And and illegal gun in NJ, I believe is simply one that is not registered with the state.

You would have made a great German back in the 30s. As it is, you will make a great slave when the time comes.

So you have no problem with illegal guns?

NJ is a “may issue” state, which means that only politically-connected ass-kissers will get a “permit” to bear arms, a right explicitly enshrined in the BOR.

All of the rest of the ordinary NJ peasants? Fuggedabowdit.

So if you agree with a “snitch your neighbor” policy in NJ, then as far as I’m concerned, you are no friend of freedom, but you are rather trending toward being a jackboot-licker.

IMHO.

When the definition of "illegal guns" is any gun carried in NJ by an honest citizen for self-protection, in a "MAY" carry state where you have to be a politically-connected boot-licker to get a "permit" to exercise your 2nd Amd rights, yes.

I have a big problem with policiticans who deem such guns to be "illegal," (in spite of the plain English in the 2nd Amd), and offer $1,000 dollar rewards for snitches to report them to the StaSi.

And I have an even bigger problem with boot-licking StaSi informants who love that program, and are happy to inform on their fellow citizens.

. . shall NOT be infringed.

(and it sounded just as boot-licking the 2nd time too)

I agree with you in theory, but in reality, 99% of those carrying guns in the inner cities are doing so illegally. They are the outlaws of our day and must be dealt with somehow. They are also the ones causing our 2A rights to be whittled away.....so I see no problem nailing if they can get them.

In 2011 I had several guns stolen......would not be surprised if they were in Newark. That is what they mean by illegal guns.

What is an “Illegal” gun?

There are no "illegal guns".

They're "undocumented firearms".

I wouldn't break the law. but what I would do here is place
a big fat sign in the yard that reads;

"Beware, Armed Citizen", just before my two week vacation.
Imagine all the neighbors who would try to cash in first. Idiots.

It sounds like something Ayn Rand might have considered for Atlas Shrugs but discarded it because she thought it was too extreme. However, I wouldn't put it past some of today's liberals.
