It was not Amos, it was the POS Admiral Mullins that forced DADT down our throats, pun intended. Amos nearly lost his job speaking out against the repeal. The Blue Navy and the Powder Blue Air Force forced this on the green side warfighters and continue to push political correctness to the point of it being damaging to our military. That said, the vast majority of Marines and Sailors are shining examples of the very best their generation(s) have to offer!

Amos was picked by Rahm Emanuel over all the rest specifically because he’d toe the Obama line. He’s the first air wing Commandant and he’s the reason we have ladies in our Infantry Officer’s Course. He put up a faint protest over the repeal of DADT and then folded like a wet napkin after it was repealed. As one wag put it when Gen Amos got back surgery “maybe they’ll insert a spine”.
