With autism rates now at a mind-blowing 1 in 88, there are many who are desperately looking for a definitive cause and a silver bullet theory.
The rise in the rate of ASD, of course, has nothing to do with recognizing milder and milder forms of the condition.
I'm pretty sure that if I was a kid today, I'd be diagnosed with Aspergers. For that matter, half my family has the symptoms.

you’re right....many kids from my grade school class would be in special ed for sure becuz they were “different”.
