The guy that takes down your tree on the cheap may not have insurance in case the tree accidentally falls on your house or somebody’s car. Or he might not have workman’s comp. when his helper gets injured on the job at your property.

We covered all that. It wasn't that at all. He was just making some weird claim that he'd provide "better service" than the next guy.

I hear it all the time. I always ask them what they mean and they can almost never tell me anything of value. The one exception is a guy that works at an oil changing place. He urged me to stop by and told me that they provide better service. I asked him what he meant and he said that they vacuum the car while the oil is being changed and give you a free air freshener. See? That I can understand. So I use them to change my oil now.
