If what you are saying is correct and only the CIA people were alerted, then why were those emails sent out 2 hours after the attack began sent also to dod addresses?

How would your claims be verified? What evidence should there be, that the military contingency plans never engaged - and why they didn’t engage?

Surely an actual ambassador would not be counted as a CIA covert operative, even if they were. They are also a public official.

Somehow the traffic got into CRITIC channels which has an automatic distro list

Perhaps a nearby listening post of some agency picked up some of what was happening and sent a CRITIC.

There have been allusions to a CIA Station Chief “In Tripoli”, maybe he panicked or got desperate

You assume there was a military contingency plan, I assume there was not, beyond a normal Tripoli embassy evacuation plan.

These guys were not in Tripoli, but in one or more “safe houses” in Benghazi

Presumably no one knew where they were, except the Agency and al Qaeda

I used to have a sign above my desk that said
“Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my mine”.

Unfortunately this one cost lives of good people when what they hadn't planned for, happened. And there was no Jack Ryan to come get them.

My “claims” are no such thing, merely educated guesses. They will never be “verified”
