HEY, this is America, not Russia. I guess people didn’t want to support GOVERNMENT MOTORS i.e. Obama’s Volt Car, because they want the competition to get rid of high union wages, vast benefits for the labor bosses, and the cost to tax payers already, why woudn’t Americans be biased. Ironically Russian Lada car maker said that same crap like GM now to their customers since the Iron Curtain fallen.
It has never worked and they pushed government to tariff foreign cars.
Until just recently they had to pay $40,000 for a base Camry due to a tariffs to force less wealthy customers into buying a lemon Lada.

Satire or not, I need a new car and am buying a Ford, just for this reason.
