What about Powell was EVER "republican"? The man is a big pro-choicer/ affirmative action/ vote for the skin color guy.

I'm wracking my brain to think of a single issue that is in tune with the republican party.

I could guess gay marriage, but Powell is probably on the democrat side on THAT, too.

You CAN be FISCALLY Conservative but not socially Conservative, but he flunks that too.

I think Powell may be like many women, just clueless about politics and the forces that propel the economy.
