I’m a prepper - good to go. Have cash, silver, guns, ammo, coleman grill, plenty of butane tanks, dry food. 3 STHF bags ready to go. 5 5 gallon poland spring water cannisters, katadyne filters, radios, batteries, flashlights, cold weather gear, dry bags, emergency blankets, etc etc.

Everyone made fun of me and called me an extremist for being a prepper. Who is calm, preppared and not paniced now?

Good for you for doing what seemed right to you. We are not diehard preppers like some, but we are always prepared in my house, too.

We live outside of Houston! We better be ready to live with problems or move fast! Really, I think being prepared for yourself and to help others is a part of the culture here with a lot of people. You have to have emergency money set aside for evacuation or you end up in nasty shelters.

Sometimes you have to relocate and start all over if you don’t have the constitution to tolerate lowly living for a year or so while they try to rebuild. Better than living in waterworld.
