He flew MISTY FAC in Vietnam, evaded capture by hanging on to a Cobra's skids while evac under fire, went on to command AMC & TRANSCOM, and promoted to Chief of Staff USAF. Four-star badass who took early retirement due to differences with the Washington Powers-That-Be.
I have a lot of respect for that man and his opinions.
